We're looking for an assistant producer. You'll help the producer with all aspects of the production.
We are looking for a tech director who will design, plan, test, run and troubleshoot the technology (video conferencing, web conferencing, streaming video, course management system, etc.) for the production. (SIG Interactive Video Conferencing?)
We're looking for an event (stage) manager who will run the event from tech rehearsal through rehearsal and the "show."
We are looking for a manager of the on-line pre-conference and post-conference components (SIG Online Learning?) (example http://moodle.esc11.net/vtc/)
We're looking for a manager of the "PeoPLE" sessions (poster, playground, lounge, exhibits) (SIG Arts Educators?)
We are looking for a manager of sites who will be responsible for marketing, registration, and liaise with the remote group sites.
We're looking for a manager of web conferencing who will will be responsible for marketing, registration, and liaise with the remote individual participants.
Each of these positions requires a significant amount of volunteer time. The tech director, event manager, and PeoPLE manager will have to attend the ISTE Conference in Philadelphia. No travel or lodging support is available for these roles. The assistant producer, on-line manager, sites manager and web (conferencing) manager positions can be done remotely and do not require attending the ISTE Conference. All positions require working through the Conference. You'll get good at working together on a remote, distributed team.
You'll work closely with the ISTE Conference Program Team (Anita McAnear, Laurie Thornley, etc.) and the leadership of the SIGIVC to run this event.
